Allergen Management Webinar
The Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency (CAHFSA) invites food service, tourism, hospitality, and food manufacturing professionals to participate in a Free Allergen Management Training Webinar on 13 August 2026, from 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) via Zoom.
The webinar will focus on strengthening allergen controls to prevent cross-contact, improve label and menu accuracy, protect consumers, and support regulatory compliance. Participants will gain practical insights into identifying allergen risks, managing allergen-related hazards, and applying effective control measures within food businesses and food service operations.
The session will be facilitated by Jamillah David, a Food Technologist, Certified Food Safety and Quality Auditor, consultant, and educator with over 14 years of experience across food manufacturing, processing, food service, and regulatory compliance. She holds an MSc in Food Science and Technology and is a Preventive Controls Lead Instructor.
